Graphic Medicine is the intersection between the medium of comics and the discourse of healthcare. (Ian Williams, 2007). The Irish Chapter has been officially launched and we are looking to develop content and engage other Graphic Medicine Enthusiasts!
Graphic Medicine is an emerging and developing field. The Graphic Medicine International Collective is the founding body that is committed to the hard work of thoughtful growth, ensuring sustainability over time, and careful articulation of our mission, vision, and values as a metric against which we will measure all of our actions moving forward.
Graphic Medicine Ireland joins other Graphic Medicine partners across the world.

Following on from the success of the International Graphic Medicine Conference held in the Technological University of the Shannon, Athlone, Ireland, there was overwhelming interest and participation in the Conference and Graphic Medicine generally that the ambition was put in place to develop an Irish Graphic Medicine Chapter.
